GUIDED IMPROV: Live at the Frick Collection

Athos Maelstrom realizes score-artworks by 10 composers from around the world, live at the Frick Collection’s Garden Court. This performance is built around audience interruption – composer Brian Ellis's deck of 24 cyanotype cards invites audience members to blend visuals together into a blueprint for Athos.

On-the-spot interpretation and lighthearted, transient socialization mold this evening of performance art into a love letter to human creativity and the whimsical curiosity that fuels it.
