“I stopped trying to see and explore the entire field before me, and instead set my sights below, to the gravel beneath my feet: a river of small, individual shards of stones that were once large – all of them slightly different shapes, colors, and lusters. This piece carries my sonic memory of this shimmering gravel river and the time that I spent above it – walking, listening, and eventually dancing.”
